S and i invited a few close friends over for dinner yesterday.
we love cozy dinners like these, with lotsa laughter and fun.
the preparation
baked ribs
orange juice marinated chicken waiting to be roasted.

our guest, mr and mrs chia + mr and mrs lee. ky was too shy to be photographed.
roasted chicken + saffron rice
roasted pork slices + carrots. we also had yu sheng, cream fish chowder and buttered french beans & corns. dessert was old time favorite - root beer float.
rounds of pictionary. we even played the Singapore version.
eh, how to draw kiabo (read in Hokkien)? for those who don't know Hokkien, it means afraid of not having.
we had wines to end the day.
